Following an informal collaboration that lasted over ten years, the International Associated Laboratory ReaDilab was launched on September 3rd, 2007. It brings together CNRS, the Paris-Sud 11 University, the Institut Polytechnique, and Grenoble's Joseph Fourier University in France, and MIMS in Japan.
ReaDiLab is set up to improve our understanding of complex phenomena in biology, medicine, and chemistry through modeling, mathematical analysis, and numerical simulations of the reaction-diffusion processes that take place in these fields.
Coordinated by two experts in mathematical modeling and analysis, Professor Masayasu Mimura for Japan and Danielle Hilhors for France, Readilab comprises 20 Japanese and 19 French members.
