MIMS Fellow, SUGIHARA wins the 1st prize at "Best Illusion of the Year Contest 2010"

We are proud to be able to announce that Professor Kokichi SUGIHARA’s work “Impossible motion: magnet-like slopes” won the First Prize at “the 6th Annual Best Illusion of the Year Contest” in Florida, U.S.A on 10th May 2010

The contest, the 6th in the series, has 84 submissions from all over the world. In the past 5 series, there were not any Top3 prize winners from Asia. He is the first person in Asia to have won the best prize in this prestigious contest. His award winning work can be viewed on the following websites.
