MIMS Fellow, SUGIHARA wins the 2010 Intermedia-Globe Silver award in Education Category at "World Media Festival", Germany

At the World Media Festival 2010, Professor Kokichi SUGIHARA’s research video has won the “Intermedia-Globe Silver” award in the Education Category.

The World Media Festival is held every May in Hamburg, Germany. The title of his award winning work is “Impossible Solids ---Discovery of New 3D Illusions”. This video is the English translation of his work which received the outstanding award in the Popular Science Category at the 50th Science and Technology Film/Video Festival in Japan. The prize giving ceremony was held on 19th May 2010 in Hamburg.
