Advanced Mathematical Sciences II (FY2009)

Mathematical modeling of cancer growth and treatment

CONTENTS
The lecture series cover frontline topics about "Iatromathematics", one of crucial academic fields in Mathematical Sciences Based on Modeling and Analysis. International top researchers working toward mathematical elucidation of cancer growth are invited as core speakers. And researchers working in Japan at this research field are also joined. They give lectures in omnibus style.
From interdisciplinary academic perspectives beyond existing research fields, "Iatromathematics", which is the integration of mathematical science and medicine, are introduced at this subject. Especially, it will focus on "Mathematical modeling of cancer growth and treatment", and the latest study will be lectured with specific phenomena.
PLANS
All lectures will be given in ENGLISH.
